Loeb’s

720146-bernes_most_famous_departement_store-bern.jpgLoeb is one of Berne’s traditional Departement store. And in Switzerland its the smallest Store-Chain. The Firm Loeb is owned mostly by the Family  and by the public through issuing “Partizipations-Scheine” a sort of shares. The Shop offers a wide range of goods from clothes, shoes, toys to food. The quality is generaly good, and the customer service is excellent! A musst see are the shops windows, probably the most original decorated of the town. The location of the shop is probably the best in town, next to the Railway station and to the main Tram/Bus station. Loeb is known as the meeting point, so if anybody suggests meeting at the “Loeb-Egge” they mean the Corner where the main enterance to the shop is.
